This is just terrible news, just awful. That stretch of I-10 where the construction is going on is extremely dangerous. Narrow lanes and no shoulder. It's ridiculous.

This is horrible. I cannot imagine what they are going through. All the prayers to the Glasco family and the softball family

On a side note, that construction area is terrible. Saw a near-wreck there yesterday.

Prayers to the Glasco family, tragic loss...A good friend of mine lost a son in a similar accident, it takes a very long time to recover and function With everyday life, much less take on the huge responsibility of leading that team.

May I suggest Turbine, placing a moratorium on any softball threads out of respect for the Glasco family...

I got a text early this morning and was hoping it wasn't true. I meet Geri Ann on a few occasions and got to know her a little bit. She seemed like a really great person who is obviously going to be missed by many.

The whole UL softball community has been through a lot the past couple of years. Prayers to the Glasco family and friends.

My 11 year old and I got to meet Geri Ann at a hitting clinic she ran in Katy last Fall. Awesome person. Spent a lot of individual time with my daughter, who was the younger and least experienced attending. You could tell she took a real joy and interest in teaching those young girls.

What a tragedy and loss for the Glasco Family and the community.
