    January 24 at 10:31 AM

Thank you all for your prayers! We are greatful for these 24 years that God blessed us with Geri Ann and we are thankful for the past 8 months that my wife and I were to once again able to share our home and the softball field with Geri Ann again.

Vickie and I want to thank you each and everyone for your thoughts and prayers. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Coach we are so sorry for your loss. All I can say is that you thought the Cajun Nation came together last year to support you.....you ain't see nothing yet.

It would be nice if someone made pins or armbands or hats or something that we could wear this season to honor her memory.

That's a great idea with the proceeds going to the Glasco's destination.

  8. UL Softball Cloud of Geri Ann Glasco's death shrouds Louisiana's softball season

    Gerry Glasco deserved better.

One of the nation’s most affable, easy-going and unpretentious softball coaches was thrown into a whirlwind when he accepted the Louisiana job just over a year ago, following an ugly coaching dismissal that fractured the Ragin’ Cajuns team and fan base.

All-American position players and national-caliber pitchers departed left and right. Glasco then took what was left and assembled a team that went 41-16, finished a close second in the Sun Belt Conference, made it to a 20th straight NCAA tournament and the Baton Rouge Regional finals and ended the year in the top 20 in both major polls

Read this early today, and this was very well penned by Dan.

  10. UL Softball Cajuns softball dedicating season to Geri Ann Glasco

Don’t talk about Geri Ann Glasco in the past tense to Louisiana softball players.

She will always be there, perhaps casting a constant motivational specter for a team that refuses to forget her as they begin a season initially shrouded in emotion.

Less than a month ago, before her death, Glasco was always among them — a volunteer assistant and daughter of head coach Gerry Glasco.

Good look at the helmet decals for Geri Ann (along with the new batting helmets for softball)
