Thread: Super Bowl ticket prices plummet

  1. UL Football Super Bowl ticket prices plummet

Does anyone really want to see another Patriots Super Bowl?

People will watch a team they hate.

It's not the Patriots they don't want to see, it's an undeserving Rams team that they don't want to see in the top matchup.

The Rams have few die-hard fans. No real interest in the Rams from their home base. They left Los Angeles in 1994 for St. Louis. Sure the NFL would like to re-establish the NFL in Los Angeles but they have not done it yet. Even people in New England have stopped paying money to travel to repetitive Super Bowls. NFL reaps what it sows.

I am not sure I believe your second to last sentence...Even people in New England have stopped... I know a few people in the Boston area and they are "fired up"! They are ecstatic! That would be like saying after the Saints have won 5 or 6 or 7 Super Bowls, the fans are going to stop paying to follow them.

... and on the other hand, personally, "Not gonna watch"! My stomach hurts every time I think about that play.

    Location, location, location.

Forecast calling for sleet/snow mix in morning turning to cold rain in the afternoon.

Super Bowl should be restricted to California, Florida and NOLA

It’s in a dome. Same weather could be in Nola in February, it rains in Florida too.

For those people forking over the money, they are looking at the other 21-45 hours they are going to spend in Atlanta. It's not just a game. There are many activities in and around the game location for the Super Bowl weekend. Atlanta has always been a terrible choice to host a Super Bowl.

Also, the NFL has spent several years diluting their product with over saturation. Throw in the bad press of the political stupidity the league has exhibited that has been ushered in due to the worst Commissioner ever, and you get falling ticket prices.

The NFL has killed demand and ticked off their customers. The horrible weather did not help.

Not arguing any of that but the only place that almost guarantees good weather is California was my point. All those activities in the pouring rain in Louisiana or Florida isn’t any better..and Florida the game is outside.

No saints fan should watch this garbage! Who gives a damn about the Pats/Rams anyway! That no call was a disgrace to the entire NFL! Ref was either paid off, or he is so utterly incompetent he had no business officiating the game in the first place!

    Who Dat!
