Really...that was very frustrating. You had to go onto the flosoftball site to see where we ranked. He didn't even provide a link to them. very shoddy article.

Seems the pollsters haven't taken our transfers into account. Of course, that's all on paper at this point. I expect their ranking to rise pretty quickly once the season begins.

I'm willing to bet that at the end of the year Louisiana is ranked higher than at least 8-9 of the schools ranked in front of them in this poll. Perhaps even more. Especially LSUA&M@BR who are essentially picked to finish 8th or 9th in their conference.

College Sports Madness is up to #15 in their count to the top. Based on their preseason bracket, I'm guessing the Cajuns will be #10. Cajuns are #20 in the D1Softballnews and #23 in the FastPitchnews polls. USA Softball and NFCA polls should be out next week.

This poll is from a website who's rankings have never been considered by most national media. The two polls with some weight behind them are the USA Today/NFCA Coaches and the ESPN.com/USA Softball Polls, at least until the NCAA Women's Softball RPI comes out.
