After reading this, I would be shocked if she isn't going to Texas, https://www.baseballamerica.com/stor...alls-upheaval/

I agree but she also said elsewhere that she would be opening up to recruiting in the next few weeks. Definitely a long shot but not impossible. Besides we need to show her who the real "best fans in the country" really are.

After reading the article about Maggie Balint and Oregon, I was just wondering how much does our Awesome Coach Glasco make? Anyone in the know?

Nobody good ever makes what they are worth. Unfortunately, it is more where they coach than how good they are that sets the salary.

Glasco agreed to a five-year contract with a $170,000 base salary, with an additional $30,000 in annual deferred salary that is payable if Glasco remains with the university through the end of the contract. He is also eligible for more than $60,000 per year in incentives.

I agree, we (and others) aren't out of the running, but I would be shocked if Texas isn't the landing spot.

I think this is a very fair contract for a first time D1 head coach. If Glasco can follow up last year's success with a trip the super regionals, I think he will get extended. If he gets to OKC, it is almost a certainty he gets totally renegotiated.

The softball coaching budget is at minimum 1.5x the old amount and wouldn't surprise me if it was double. Except with a few outliers, I think we are competitive right now with almost all of the SEC or other "softball" conferences.

His compensation package is good. He is higher than some of the lower to mid tier P5 coaches.
