I agree that human error has always been a part of sports, and sometimes calls go in your favor and sometimes they don’t. But with the timing of the play, and the fact that the ref was right there to witness the hit, i this this was the worst Non call I have ever seen in my life!!!! If the call was made correctly, we get 4 more tries for a TD, even if we have to settle for a FG we get to run more time off the clock! That one call (or non call) definitely affected the outdid the game
ESPN does statistics for all kinds of things. I saw in one of their segments that had the call been made, the Saints' had a 98% probability of winning the game at that point. That's pretty telling.

I agree with those odds, if the penalty is called, I really don’t see a scenario where we lose

Hence why it is possibly the biggest choke on a national stage of all time.

If ESPN were doing those probabilities when Herm Edwards returned that fumble for a TD against the Giants, and sure before that snap, the Giants’ probability of winning was 99%.

Saints up 35-7 vs the 49ers in 1980 before Montana got into the game...those things don’t happen very often. They’re extreme and not the norm.

The second that the Saints kicked a field goal with around a minute and a half the odds were much closer to 50/50

The Rams without a timeout and less than half a minute are far less likely to tie it. Frankly they might have let the Saints score a TD in order to have enough time to get a tying TD.

I think you misspoke, Refs don't choke, they revoke.

I was referring to the ATL-NE Super Bowl that our tinfoil ESPN hat wearer used that example to show how they’re wrong all the time.

.....So if I had a bet with the Saints, was the point spread in effect for the win or what was needed if I had the Saints....was it just the win???

Watching the POS commissioner and his “state of the league” address. Nothing about the “F up in the French Quarter’.

First question, a big softball from the AP regarding Rooney Rule.

Jeff Duncan asked the $2 question, pc answer. He’s skirting apologizing...two other times so far it’s been brought up.
