And Pete Carroll did a few years ago on an even bigger stage. Lots of criticism. Still has his job.
I was alluding to players or coaches who endanger the integrity of the game. Sports books didn't refund money when The Saints DB missed a tackle. The NFL's silence speakers volumes to me that they don't care. I am in the extreme minority but I wish their was no replay under any circumstances. I liked the game better when you knew the play you were watching was going to count. But if they are going to use replay to get the calls right, do it all the time! It's stupid to pick and choose what calls you need to get right.

It's only stupid when you're not trying to control the outcome of games from New York.

New York did not change the outcome, the refs did. They were biased to not throw flags all game so the players would “settle it on the field”. That bias caused them not to see a rather obvious double penalty. My point is either use replay or don’t. Pass interference and personal foul penalties are game changing plays. They need to be included in the reply process.

Where's the head to head fine, they dole that out whether it was called or not.

NFL isn't saying jack about the no call, get past that. In doing so, if the Rams were to win, it then would be admitting the Rams are an illegitimate champion.

As far as the NFL, I'll be taking my wife out to supper where there are no video screens on the day of the big joke/game, because this is all I have for them...

I gave up watching NFL football a long time ago. Chose instead to devote my emotional energy, what little I have left, to Cajun athletics......with the exception of women's basketball and now, for the most part, men's basketball.

Attorney Files Lawsuit to Have Ending of Rams/Saints Replayed

A New Orleans-based attorney has filed a lawsuit seeking to make NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell step in and force a replay of the end of the NFC Championship game between the Saints and Los Angeles Rams.

Lawyer Frank D’Amico filed a civil suit in New Orleans on behalf of Saints season-ticket holders which could theoretically make Goodell invoke NFL Rule 17, Section 2, Article 1 and compel both teams to return to New Orleans to replay the end of the game.

The rule allows the commissioner to take extreme action in the face of an unfair result. In this case, the unfair result would be the non-call on a clear pass interference by Rams corner Nickell Robey-Coleman on Saints receiver Tommylee Lewis on a third-and-10 play with 1:49 left in the game.

“The commissioner has the sole authority to investigate and take appropriate disciplinary and/or corrective measures if any club actions, non-participant interference, or calamity occurs in an NFL game which the commissioner deems so extraordinarily unfair or outside the accepted tactics encountered in professional football that such action has a major effect on the result of the game,” according to the rule.

Really wish people would stop this rematch/replay nonsense. These lawsuits are all publicity stunts.
