There was no "appear" with the non call. It was crystal "clear."

Regardless of the semantics...the sentiment still holds up. You cannot expect to always get the right side of the outcome. You have to roll with the punches...AND CONTROL WHAT YOU CAN CONTROL. Not throwing a pick in overtime is sure as ___k something you can control. You cannot control a gunshy ref crew scared to throw a flag.

EVERY team gets fortunate calls throughout the year, although I never saw one so obvious all year.

I'm sure none of you had a problem with this bad call...or any of the other fortunate calls the Saints got throughout the year. You can't have it both ways. You live by the sword...you die by it.

This is the championship game and this officiating crew was considered one of the best and they clearly had a bad game period. That one play helped send the game in to overtime and there were several calls missed on both teams prior to it. The NFL has a major problem and it feeds into the story line that they and major media are invested into the major markets and could care less about Kansas City or New Orleans markets.

or should the whole playoff system be looked at? can you truly say a team is better if they dont have to play any road playoff games? i cant think of any other sport, except college baseball/softball that allows that....

Any idea that diminishes the value of the regular season is a ... Dumb idea.
