So you go from "You guys got all the breaks this year, every single call" to "this call wasn't the biggest play in the game"? You go from one extreme to the next. And you are right, when that theory is coming from ignorance, my ___ aint gonna listen.

It wasn't. 3 Field goals instead of touchdowns was way more important than a missed call in an already poorly officiated game. The Saints this season have been reliant on those breaks and calls...and did not fix major issues with their offense hoping they could just squeak by. Well...here they are. You can return to your Saints echo chamber all you want...that doesn't make it right.

I didn't know people actually listen to Foote's nonsense on the Saints or Astros? I'd rather get a waxing on my back.

With all of that said the score was tied and the Saints were deep in Rams territory with under 2 minutes to go. If the blatant interference is called, as it should have been, that game is over. Saints take a knee 3 times, kick the chip shot with about 20 seconds on the clock. That non call was one of the worst if not the worst I've seen and came at a critical in the game. It's happened to too many teams too many times (yes, including the Seahawks) and the league just doesn't seem to care.

    Question.

If a ball is tipped at the line, we know there can be no interference.

But if the quarterback's arm is hit and there is no contact with the ball, is it technically interference if the receiver was to be tackled before the ball got there?

I find it amazing the NFL has not released a statement. This wasn’t just your normal bad (non)call, this changed the teams playing in the Super Bowl. If a player or coach had screwed up this badly, Justice would be swift and harsh.

This...even with all the shortcomings mentioned by Hawk that the Saints had the last several weeks of the season...and poor game management...they still put themselves in the position to win the game and should have...that’s not debatable...

Pump your brakes Hawk. Everyone here has a right to their opinion. His is just as valid as yours is. Name calling and the like is not really necessary.

Saints DB did last year. There wasn't any swift and harsh justice.

And Pete Carroll did a few years ago on an even bigger stage. Lots of criticism. Still has his job.
