Its about getting teams into the SB from 2 of the top 5 media markets, selling more nfl gear, bigger ratings to satisfy advertisers, etc. Nothing to do with what team sells tickets...

To be honest with you I really have soured on the NFL for some time now. I got tired of defensive backs dancing around after they broke up a pass and wide receivers dancing around after they made a catch. That is what they are supposed to do. Do your job and get on with the next play. Don't act like little kids. It's almost as if the players are out there for themselves and not the benefit of the team. They also call in the expert to make a decision on whether or not a penalty is a penalty.

So far as who did or didn't win today, I really didn't care. I am not a fan of any of the teams. I am also not saying it was rigged. What I am saying is the NFL got what they wanted. An East Coast and west Coast team so that they could sell tickets to the super rich folks on the east and west coast (most of whom didn't go to a single game this year or last) and sell the advertising. Do you actually think the average Ram or Patriot fan can even come close to being able to buy a Super Bowl ticket. The only ones that can are in the sky boxes. The fan in the open part of the stadium can't even sniff a ticket. Follow the money.

Finally, I hope Gladys Knight does a good job with the National Anthem. She has definitely been "down with the struggle" and has paid her dues for sure.

They can't practically control the entire season, however they sure as hell can control the last two games - Not Fair League

Patriots in the super bowl will not help viewership. The is no grand conspiracy, just pockets of ineptitude amongst officiating crews.
