That is true. Some are encouraged about our early signees. Need to add more in April.

When over half of the roster isn’t quality D1 players it’s hard to win.

LOL, hilarious stuff. Everyone in this forum should be locked in a room together with a keg of beer, hash it out, and end with a big group hug.

I understand that is not the norm for the great majority of teams. Someone said earlier they were more ready to play than we were. I would probably agree with that. However, the hot start they got off to from the field gave them even more energy. Defense has to improve for us to pick up a few more wins. You won't beat anybody giving up 99 points. Despite all our limitations, we are generally scoring enough to win. Sounds like I am describing the Pelicans isn't it.
Mike, being over 70% is not OK. It is typically a goal for a team to be at least 70-75% on team FT Shooting on a per game basis. Anything over that is definitely above average. ULM happens to be top 5 in the country in FT shooting. We are top 20 at just about 75%.

Kudos to PJ Hardy for shooting us back into the game. Seems he has been improving in many ways recently. That is one guy taking advantage of the increased time due to the Marquetti injury. Experience he is getting now may pay off next season.
There's that "Next Season" thing again.....

I read these threads where passion is a blind horse and know that was me years ago. Even that is unhealthy.

I've only been upset with Cajuns athletics once in the past several years...Hud's multiple lack of instutional control issues. From the ACT fiasco to letting the team "drive the bus" to that utterly embarrassing last Hud game. That game fell on the players too; they quit that day.
Yes, you have definitely adopted acceptance when it comes to the MBB.

Therefore, no coaching change will be considered anytime soon.
There is no injury "situation" this year. We have one player down for the remaining part of the year. He is a key player and likely considered our second best player but we weren't exactly lighting up the scoreboard with him in there either. Many teams go through spells with injuries of the short and long term nature. That doesn't put us in any different "situation" from most other schools out there.

We have 1 potential stud player. Have you seen the needs of this year's team before we lose 3 really good seniors? We will need a HELL of a lot more than the PG to come in move us forward.

Lets not forget that Miller and Davis are both going to be seniors next year also. That's not only replacing Gant after this year but we have bigger holes to fill the year after. Its scary right now looking forward.

Your incessant defending of Marlin, apologist garbage is THE reason why we are stuck in basketball purgatory. Perhaps consider removing Marlin’s Kock from your suck hole and watch the games?
    LOL
