I heard a rumor this weekend that Gunner won't be ready until conference play. I'm really hoping that's not true.

I am not sure it will be that long, but don't be surprised if he's not your opening day starter...

That is cut down from 44 during fall. Marco Ramos, Jacob Norman and Todd Crabtree arent carried over.

Of course, actual roster limit is 35, but last season we had 44 on the listed online roster during the season (included transfers, injured, etc.) So the website isnt always accurate on who is eligible to play, etc. But yeah, usually once they have numbers for all players it is set

I just did and it still show 41, but that has Jam and I'm not sure he'll be playing this year.

Thought I would share a countdown (as of a few minutes ago) to our return to the Tigue:

    35 days
    858 hours
    51532 minutes
    3091932 seconds

Gunner is just as much an unknown as the newcomers.

You right, I can't count on the fly. However the roster has changed and they all have numbers now. I assume it has a number of them on there that will red shirt to get down or subsequently released to get down to 35.

LOL. Was just about to say that 6:30 am first pitch may keep the crowd down a bit.

My guess is the roster is already down to the 35 man maximum roster size. They typically have exit interviews with all the players after the fall to give them their status. Those who don't make the roster and go their own way or the coach may offer to facilitate them joining a JUCO where they'd have the best opportunity to play with the possibility of coming back at a later time.

I expect it won't be long before they'll be sending out a Diamond Club social notification that got delayed from it's normal time in the fall to spring due to the rain delays in the fall pushing back the fall ball practices and World Series.

yeah...better fix that lol. Then again, I for one would not mind it one bit, 6:30 am is pretty much mid-morning to me.

Well it sounds to me like your options for pregame are either a good coffee stout or adding some bourbon to your Community dark roast.

Goodness grief! How come?! This is arguably the longest rehab ever! Hearing this concerns me greatly that he will never again be himself on the bump.
