TCU does seem like a logical high profile landing spot for Hurts, especially given Texas is his home State. Will be one of the 2019 CFB season long narratives.
I certainly agree with most fans, it's a long shot for him to land here, but it's not impossible. I was surprised as anyone when Jeff driskel went to Ruston. The circumstances are not the same in Hurts case but to say it can't happen just being pessimistic.
Maryland or TCU...he sure would get a lot of hype if he came here and helped us to the NY6
Come on man, he ain't coming to UL. Why do some of y'all do this to yourselves?
If you don’t hinge your life on athletics, you can simply talk about anything without “doing this to yourself” it’s not that big a deal either way. It is true that if he came here and we went to the NY6...the media would say he did it himself. “Jalen hurts single handily brought Louisiana-Lafayette to a NY6 bowl, I’m drafted that guy if im a GM”
More of this message board needs their head checked than originally thought if you think Jalen Hurts was coming to UL.
This Hurts to UL thing is really picking up steam. I am hearing we are in his top25! You hear that?! We are ranked in the top25!!! Not only do we have his best friend Napier here at UL, but we also had a dual threat QB drafted in the NFL back in 1990. The wild card here is that he prefers the other 24 destinations, but we are in the running. Also heard if we are unsuccessful getting Hurts we will set our sites on 5star DT Sopsher from Amite. Exciting times.
