Regardless, he’s unlikely to go to SEC teams. Then you look around at prime time schools that need his skill set and there’s not that many.

I think you’re absolutely right, SEC is off the table...but there is a P5 somewhere that will welcome him with open arms...look at what Lamar Jackson did in the NFL this year, he will want his shot being they are similarly skilled.

Yeah.... he was his primary recruiter if I remember correctly

I think Napier is savy and ballsy enough to make a call or two to test the waters, but Hurts accomplished way much more than Anthony Jennings had when he transferred here.

He’ll have to fall off the radar of a lot of lower P5 programs before we have any shot. I wouldn’t get excited.

Again, not that Napier shouldn’t and won’t put out a call, but Hurts is in a much better position.
