Great job Marlin & Co. Anyone see this kid play in HS?

I have seen highlights of him. Gets to the basket with ease. 6'3" guy with a 6'8" wingspan. That will allow him to be effective defensively and to contribute on the boards from Day 1. He shoots somewhat of a set shot from the perimeter. Makes a decent percentage there but can still improve. He does a good job of faking that shot and going right around the defender. Some in the program think he will start as a freshman.

Saw him on film. Was hoping to go to the Madison Prep tournament when they went but couldn't. He should help day 1 and we will need it with the guys we are losing this year.

Maybe it is a down year for Louisiana HS basketball?

Wilson is a stud on the national stage, but is kind of a tweener?

He made it known early that he hates LSU, but wants to play for a Louisiana school?

I don't know, really, but what I do know is that he is a very good student, and an even better person; so it isn't grades and it isn't character issues.

College Basketball recruiting is all about findng the right "fit" for a program...ubless you're a 5* 6'10 290 lb post player, then everyone offers...

Welcome Mylik. We lose a Malik and gain a Mylik. Hopefully we get the same caliber a player as Marquetti. If so, we will all be thrilled.
