Presume he is out for year. I echo the sentiments on the board in wishing him a speedy recovery in the New Year. Cajuns basketball is not that important now in this regard. Guy has a chance to make some money overseas playing ball and I hope this situation does not derail those plans. I am sure his teammates will play hard for him as the season goes forward.

Can't imagine how bad Malik feels. One of my favorite players to watch. IMO he's the most improved player from last year. We will surely miss him.

Feel bad for the kid, he has worked really hard in the class room and in the gym since he transferred in.

    Devastating, to say the least.

This is awful news. I really loved some of his “throwback” moves. Here’s to a speedy recovery!

Thanks Malik for your leadership and the privilege to watch you play. Here's wishing you a speedy recovery and success in the future wherever HE leads you.

Terrible news, he was the one guy who had really stepped it up this year. He had shown the flashes last year but was doing it every game this year. Wishing him the best on his recovery and hope his playing days can continue professionally.

Dang, best of luck...still remember that nasty dunk he had at ULM last year...he posterized that cat...

Horrible news. Been around way too many ACL injuries. IF rehabbed correctly its 9-12 months minimum. Anyone says otherwise they are playing with fire.

Prayers up for him and best moving forward.
