    .....For all you Erath gentlemen....Shoot Broussard former owner of "Shoots Bar " died.....I post this here as I can remember the turtle sauce picant, gumbos, rabbit b ques, and red fish blackened over the years......I knew nothing about the local politics but it was fun listening!

    My problem with Dwyer's menu is that I can never get past the pork roast with eggplant dressing smothered in gravy. Nothing else there can possibly be better than that.

    You should have bought the Darrell's Special with grilled shrimp added or the Surf and Turf. You missed out. I prefer the original Darrell's in LC. Don't forget to say, "Jalapeno mayo".

    I had the shrimp once and was disappointed. I now always get the Darrells Special with the jalapeño mayo. It was delicious last night.
