Jack Phares owned Dupuy's for 20 years, until they said he didn't.

    Then he opened Shucks

His son owned Phares on Ambassador Caffery.

Duffy's in NI definitely has some of the best fried chicken I have had in this area. Onion rings and chili dogs are also excellent.

I just had some fried chicken from Church's on Congress and Ambassador yesterday. I have to say that it's really good. Sides are good also. We had fries and mac and cheese

He didn't really own dupuys, they just ran it for many years. And It was a going concern when they took it over, but they were the ones who put it on the map. When the owners took it back, they opened shucks.

    Too many "they's" to follow.

The best fried chicken is the chicken I cook after I finish a batch of cracklin. Nothing like chicken fried in hog lard.

I know that's how the court ruled, but if they just ran it, the word "lease" would have never been uttered.

So I guess in the litigation, the position of the Dupuis'/Hebert's was that the Phares were not only leasing the building, but were leasing the business also? So when the "lease" ended, the Phares were not entitled to anything Dupuis?
