Facts

SLU won the SLC conference last year and like the Ragin'Cajuns lost first round of NIT.

We strongly considered one of the SLU players. He was top defensive player in the league last year. The reason we didn't pursue him was academic concerns.
They had another top notch player returning.

Gant is 75% and will probably play. The injury only hurts or limits if he should fall on it.

Of course like all schools playing us this game is a big in state rival game for them.

The game was originally set for 12/22, but they asked us to move it. In his view that turned out to be a plus for us. Rest, Gant healing, and additional practice.

Game at 4:00 PM Saturday, not available on tv.

I’m looking forward to it as well. I will be able to make it as it’s a pretty quick trip for me. If I remember correctly this is a 2 for 1 where they return to the dome next year and this is the only game in Hammond.
