The way Coach Lee handled this will have no impact one way or another on his future here. He probably handled it the way 90% of coaches would have. If he were one to put winning over integrity, he would have overlooked it as the team will be very short handed in this evening's game.

I wouldn't jump on integrity, at this point Lee is probably looking for a loss goat. It's a shame UL didn't go with LeBato to start the year.

T-Joe needs to do some house cleaning, students need to start caring & supporting our programs, alumni need to step up and voice their opinions and we need the community to care like they did when we brought Winkler, Ivory and Scott to our University. _

Trigger, what gets lost day after day, season after season, in major mens sports... on fans like you and me... and many others... is this whole idea that those in charge at UL "need" to do x, y or z. They do not see what you and I see as "needs". Would you change what you are doing if your little local habitat was just as you like it? Would you take on more responsibility or rock the boat, if your idea of career satisfaction is to maintain a title in the public sector? Do you know what public sector professions are all about? Do you know what kind of people rise to the top of public sector positions?

People who want excessive predictability are willing to limit high-end experiences if they can insulate themselves against vulnerable situations. Do you think the people in charge at UL are entrepreneurial? Do you think they are risk takers? Can you come up with any proof that their lifestyle choices are in jeopardy if they refuse to do anything we suggest? Why would the people that choose to work at a public institution do what a bunch of privately connected people want?

We need to stop saying that UL management "needs" to do something... without transforming what we want them to do into reasons they need to do it. I am very tired as a UL supporter being on the hot end of the iron. You and I own UL. We pay for some people to manage our assets. I strongly feel that the public servants have perverted the relationship. When I go eye to eye with people that collect paychecks in public positions, I rarely see them... anymore... recognizing their boss when they see them.

Public employees all need to know this... in living color... we private people own the cool end of the branding iron. If they do not get that in their heads through pure visualization... they are sadly going to get that iron buried deeply in their haunches in the near future. There is absolutely no doubt about it. Remember when Tyren didnt start the FAU game because he was late for a meeting. The first 2 minutes of the game FAU went up like 8-0 and then Lee put Tyren in. What a great job of disciplinary action Lee did.

So basically you can be late for a meeting yet you will only lose 2 minutes of action. What does that say to the other players? Hey lets be late it will only cost us 2 minutes.

Really nothing to base that on actually. However, I feel that you have to have seen someone do it successully at the DI level to have an idea how you were going to do it.

For instance, Lee learned under Jesse. By all acounts that I got Jesse was not very disciplined, however he was able to get a ton of talent. Not really a sustainable blue print.

Lebato was an assistant under Lee. I don't think you should ever promote a assistant from a losing program. It doesn't make sense. Now middle of the year is one thing, but beginning of the year is another.

What about Nate Dixon? The players have told me that his in-depth scouting reports have been a big difference in the past two months.

That is untrue. For better or worse Robert still runs practices. Also, I agree with Brad. Whoever told youthay Lebato is running practice is trying to portray him in a positive light. Lebato has been hear since the worst of the losing started.
