Just for gits and shiggles, I checked out all the in state FBS programs for 100 Louisiana prospects that are either signed or hard commitments:

LSU&A&MC@BR: 9
LTU@R: 5
Tulane: 4
ULM: 0
Louisiana: 12

To be fair, lsu's guys were all top 25

Kudos to the staff. This is the first time in a while where we out recruited Tech and Tulane in LA. Let’s hope Tyler Guidry is the “in” we need at Southen Lab. Them and University are producing a ton of D1 athletes.

That is exactly what happened. Good analysis on the recruiting issue. However Hud gave more to this university than he took. He showed this program can win and he was instrumental in raising funds to help get the APC get built correctly. Yes he had issues but he should be thanked for what he did here on an overall basis.

Hud recruited some great guys that never made it on the field. We can't afford that again.
