Tulane 41, UL 24 in the Cure Bowl

UL cut a 21-point lead to 3, but Tulane prevailed 41-24 for a Cure Bowl win over the Ragin’ Cajuns at Orlando’s Camping World Stadium.

The Cajuns rallied behind a 3-yard Elijah Mitchell touchdown run in the third quarter and a 13-yard Andre Nunez TD throw to Bam Jackson in the fourth, but the Green Wave converted a critical fourth down with a 15-yard pass from Justin McMillan to Charles and added late TD runs of 4 yards by Cure Bowl MVP Darius Bradwell and 16 yards by McMillan to hang on.
