And, of course, even if NOTHING HAPPENS, we're still the better for it by having improved our facilities, weaned ourselves off the LSU-dominated state legislature teat, grown our athletic budget, hired better coaches, yada yada yada.
But then, doing that stuff is FREAKIN' HARD.
To quote JFK,
We choose to go to the Moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard; because that goal will serve to organize and measure the best of our energies and skills, because that challenge is one that we are willing to accept, one we are unwilling to postpone, and one we intend to win, and the others, too.
It’s time to do away with all bowls and go to a 16 team playoff. Pare down the conferences to 8 and get an auto bid for the 8 Champs and 8 at large.
If you don’t make the cut then so be it. If we get relegated down then so be it. But I really like our chances.
PJ Fleck will have Minnesota rolling in 2 years. 58 freshman or sophomore players.
another false narrative that it is so hard to prepare for the option?
