I'm not threatened at all. You guys beat a very mediocre team who replaced their starting QB with true freshman, mid game, and was without their number one WR. I stand by my assessment that Hawaii was some trash. Shouldn't Skippy have taken you to the promise land by now? What year is he in? 5 bowls in a row is no doubt an accomplishment but Hud didn't accomplish great success in the end with us and he won 4 consecutive Bowls.

Our signing class this year holds the promise of great things to come for the Cajuns. Napier is doing things the right way and has us on a path that promises to bring the best days ever for Cajun football.

My take on the current trend for FBS football programs in Louisiana:

UL- way up
La Tech - flat, despite a nice bowl win streak
Tulane - up
ULM - flat, with tremendous money issues

I do think La Tech stands to benefit the most if ULM’s financial problems cause the demise of its football program. This is somewhat worrisome, as Tech would be the only FBS program in Louisiana north of I-10 if ULM ever throws in the towel.

We’ll need to sign two more classes similar to this one. We’re losing a lot this year. The fact that many of these seniors held starting positions suggests that underclass should have gotten much more PT.
