Obviously all of the complainers have never organized a big event...you don’t just “move” a big function...

I am sure not that hard to move to night. Great job Kiwanis.

Lafayette Kiwanis Acadiana Area High School Football All-Star I-10 Bowl Game on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at STM Cougar Stadium. Tickets are $10 at the gate. The gate opens at 11:00 AM and kickoff is scheduled for 12:30 PM.
Meh, when was it first scheduled?

If it had been scheduled weeks ago for Saturday evening the complaint would have been that the Kiwanis Club didn't have faith in the Cajuns making it to the New Orleans Bowl.

Changing such an event's day and time might be harder than we think.

Also, there's a reason God created VCRs.

That Saturday is always the openning of college bowl season. Have it on Friday night or always have a conflict. Not real hard.

Always have a conflict with what? When they planned this event, its possible nobody was thinking bowl and we certainly had no idea we'd be in the Cure bowl. You don't plan events, where there are likely few dates available, around an bowl that we may or may not even be involved in.
