Haha. There were just too many sobering moments today to get a buzz going.

The point of my post is that dude wants marlin fired tonight( well pretty much every game).

I’d like a roll call, who in this thread attended the game?
I watched on my laptop from my hotel room in Orlando. My 2 basketball season tickets were used by co-workers tonight at the cajun dome.

Not defending Marlin, because he recruited these players, but reloading at the G5 level is incredibly difficult. Stroman,Gant and Marquetti will have to step up and carry this team to avoid a bad season.
Something being "incredibly difficult" isn't an excuse in my book. While Napier has not yet signed the guys who have committed, if he does (and I believe he'll sign most them), he will have done something "incredibly difficult" in his first gd year warming his chair as a Cajun coach.

How much money does Marlin earn? How does his salary compare to other coaches in the league? If he's near the top, then I expect him to do the "incredibly difficult" year in and year out.

When you are the Big Fish, you don't have to cut bait.

Well, instead of reeling in speckled trout, it's all hard-head cats so far. But then, it's incredibly difficult.

Alot harder to get a hard head off the hook than a trout.

Harder? I'd say it's incredibly difficult.

Not if you have one of those thing-a-magidgets

I would say being a consistent winning mid major basketball program in the south is “incredibly difficult” and relevant on top of that is even harder. And no I’m not defending marlin with that statement. I really can’t think of a relevant mid major in the south?

New Mexico State? Kind of out west
    WKU? That’s basketball country
SMU, UCF, UAB, Memphis( maybe used too)

Anybody know of one example we can try to model ourselves after.

I mean it’s not Jamaican bob sledding, but I don’t think it’s as easy as football or the spring sports.
