I'm gonna say that's not always important. For ya younger guys Jacksonville had the twin towers one NBA great Artis Gilmore. They came into the championship game with lots of hype. UCLA out rebound them, outplayed them, naturally out coached and won the NCAA title with nobody over 6'8".

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artis_Gilmore

    And this

    https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.cit...m/amp/70212718
Of the top 7 guys who average 20 minutes or more, they only have two guys who are 6'7" and 6'8" each. They really won't have any height advantage on us whatsoever in terms of their major minutes guys.

We have lost 2 of our captains/starting guards for the season, so you guys should be heavy favorites in this one.

Always sandbagging. Y'all and McNeese have that in common. And maybe an AD?

Anyone know the details here. Wonder if Bulldogs lost these guys due to injury, academics, discipline or transfer. Could be different situation for each guy

Exavian Chrison (12 ppg, 4 rpg, 2 apg) passed out in practice a week or two ago. He has been wearing a heart monitor 24/7 ever since to try and identify the problem. This hits close to home because our starting 7'0" center from last season had to quit basketball due to heart problems.

Derric Jean (9 ppg, 4rpg, 3 apg) has had a lingering leg issue since last season where he can't seem to recover after games. No details have been released. They are sitting him until conference play at least, but have suggested they may pursue a medical redshirt.

Thanks for info. Hope the young men regain their health soon. Both issues are concerning and Tech is doing the right thing by focusing on their future vs one game. That being said their teammates will play extra hard for them so in no way will this be anything but a tough battle.

Louisiana up 12-10 with Stroman shooting free throws after the timeout at 11:57 of the 1st half.

Hope this one goes better than the bowl game. I don't think I could take two in-state losses in one day.
