Missed the game tonight due to west Texas trip. Hope they can carry over the sharp shooting to the LTURd game. Wife and I will be in Orlando.

Why Jerekius does not play more is beyond me.

Can you quit sucking that lemon long enough to give these guys a little credit?

It’s prairie view who is now 1/9. We usually beat swac by 25-35 points . We did absolutely what I expected. I happen to love 🍋 they’re one of life’s greatest treasures.

Hard to believe Prairie View is pre season pick to win the SWAC after watching them tonight. Also, their scores indicated it would be a competitive game. I presume they are tired of being on the road as tonight was their 10th straight away from home. Also, Cajuns just happened to be hot from all areas of the court. We hit quite a few threes but what was encouraging was we finished at the basket consistently for once. 65 percent is nothing to sneeze at no matter your opponent. It is hard to do that against air at times. When Davis hit his seventh tough three in a row, I began to wonder what our record is for consecutive threes made in one game. I don't know but I may have to look it up. I do wonder if the Kevin Foote view of it is not good to score too many runs in one game in baseball comes into play here. He says that because odds are you won't score many in the next game and it is uncanny how often he is right on that. Here, I wonder if we did not leave any shots that find the basket available for Saturday night against Tech. Hope Kevin's theory is off this time. No way we are that hot again so defense, ball handling, rebounding etc. will need to be efficient. I do suspect both teams will be focused so it will go well into the second half before a team takes command.

I believe he has back issues that keep him from playing a ton of minutes.

I found defense was the difference at the beginning of the game last night. Started well and that spilled over to the offensive side of the court. When we get these horses running they are tough to stop. Quite a few times in the second half the rotation did not include any of the 3 seniors. That "2nd" group was very good. They kept the momentum going.

    From your mouth.....

Went to the game and had that same thought: I hope we look just as good Saturday night. The ‘turds will at least get a decent meal for their trip.
