For a university and program that mistreated its players and staff so badly, there sure are a lot of top recruits and all everything transfers from top softball programs that want to see what UL softball is about.
Also, our best player leaves for Oregon. They pay us back with one of their own nearly a year later?
This is very simple. A lot of high profile players are coming to Louisiana because of their past experience with Coach Glasco and Coach Roberts, and based upon their reputations.
If either one has broken any rules, then they and the program should suffer the consequences, end of story.
I don't believe they are breaking any rules, and they have my entire support.
Well how’d she manage to overcome the negative influence of our defectors. Maybe they don’t badmouth us without their lawyers.
An out fielder from Oregon, Shannon Road, is transferring to Texas.
Maybe she wants to be near her friend
Why are players transferring out of Oregon and Texas A&M?
I know little about the softball world's inner workings but I do know something about human nature.
An undeniable fact is that this program is suddenly getting attention from cream-of-the-crop players from around the country. As it relates to our softball program, has there been some significant change in administration support, fan support, quality of our overall facilities? I would have to say, no, that those things have been consistent year in and year out. Yes, we're installing artifical turf right now, but that's just the lastest in a long list of improvements that have been on-going in the program.
The kids talk to one another. They have their network, their softball grapevine. Teammates spread out all over the country seeing who's doing what, and report back to one another about all these factors, probably most importantly, including coaching.
I'll just leave it at that.
Let me add a lot of Glasco former players coach at the high school and club level. People tell me anyone who has played for him consider him one of the best coaches they have ever had. that goes a long way when your coach tells you something like that as a young recruit.
wonderful. didnt want to say they were, just wanted clarification on what the rules are. would think the transfer rule is similar in all sports as far as comms? clearly UL is not scooping up the majority. also in football i notice some of the grad transfers seem to announce after grad school application deadlines have passed?
