    Losing would be a bigger cost. Winning is never a bad thing.

    There is no recruiting downside to playing in a bowl.

    So what if you can't say your name to a recruit. Others are saying it for you.

    No, the bash will remain in February on the first Wednesday of the Month, National Signing Day.

    Sonnier has some grade and character concerns, that is why you've heard very little on him. His best route might be JC at this time if he wants to play in the FBS.

    is it mandatory that all coaches go to the bowl the entire week? seems preparation for bowl is less intenst than a conf game, plus could visit recruits in the bowl area..... also watching the bowl at recruits house with them by one of the assistants could be recruiting gold?

    Bowls are rewards for coaches and their familys as well they worked their tail off during the season.

    But as for preparations why mess with a formal that has been successful , you are in a bowl for a reason.
