Vic I am just saying you use words like trash or bash when some one gives an opinion. No one on here has ever trashed Chandler fields. Metry, Krazy and Myself just said we all saw Fields on a few occasions and we all have questions, and the same opinion on if we think he will be the future here. It doesn't mean we have I'll will toward him or want him to fail. I wish nothing but the best for the kid.

I have a daughter on the TC Rebel Review dance team. I am pretty sure Krazy has a son that plays football, and a pretty good one at that, if he is who I think he is. TC receivers are white with average speed and dropped about 50% of the passes that hit them in both hands. The ones that were completed down field, the little QB had to thread the needle because of no separation. That is just a fact. Not trashing or bashing just stating what was obvious if you watched them all year. I think coach Dane would agree. If you watch STM on the other hand with a very above average, very well coached receiver corp, their QB throws to wide open kids with no one around them all the time. Hell my 6'3" 320lb washed up ex athelete @$$ could complete those. Just because krazy me or anyone else says we'd like to see him work in tighter coverage situations doesn't mean we think he's not good. We just want to see the accuracy when he's got to put it in a tight spot. Not sure if you know this, but coming from STM dads after last year, accuracy was his biggest question mark. I would love to see the kid here I think Billy could fix his deficiencies. But he aint coming from what I ve been told.

IMO it appears when some gives an opinion based on what they saw you want to argue and say they are bashing the kid or Napier's recruiting ability..... When it is obviously not the case.

How many times this year have you seen those 3 teams in question in order to say any of those statements are inaccurate?

I have had an opportunity to see all three play this year and last. Here is my assessment of all. Not endorsing or saying anything about signing or not signing.

Chandler is the shortest and most stocky of the bunch. He appears to be more of a runner than passer. When he does throw the ball it is to wide open very talented receivers.......One thing I noticed about Rummell is all of their offensive skilled guys are african American, their defense is 100% african American. Their band and cheerleaders are all white. Their fans in the stands were 99% white. I just found that odd at the high school level. Usually team, band, cheerleaders and fans are made up of equal percentages. (Not that it maters for QB assessment I just found it odd.)

Holstein at STM- Body of the prototypical QB 6'3" or 4"ish I would guess. The best looking of the bunch by far. Has a college arm. Has a receiving corps that goes 10 deep and could very well be the best in the state. I saw 2 of his games this year and he too throws to wide open receivers all night. His guys are so open even my old 55 year old self could hit them. I heard LSU and Georgia have come in hard on him lately, he will probably go P5 for sure.

LeBlanc at TC - Is about 6'1"ish and on the slender side and seeing his first varsity action this year. Has a very good arm and is a very accurate passer. I have seen all of TC home games and the one in Metry he may have the worst receiving corps in the state. They get absolutlley no separation, everything he throws he has to thread a needle, and put it in the spot. His receivers probably have more drops that hit them in 2 hands than they do catches. In my opinion if he had the STM receivers his stats would be much better. Id say maybe FCS or DII.

The crazy thing about this day and age it doesn't really matter what any of these kids do on the field any more recruiting is becoming more of a how you perform for 2 days in their summer camps.
All very accurate info except I never suggested we go after the TC QB. I wouldn't say he is a proven D1 talent as of now.

Does it offend you when someone states facts based on what they have seen with their own eyes?

    You believe your on BS.

You say one QB is not a proven D1 QB but that you would take him over the QB that Napier has offered and has committed to us. I ask you, what is that saying about our commit.

Look at the words you used to describe the TC receivers on a public board. Certainly you can't say that you are praising them.

You attempt to diminish the abilities of the STM QB because he has a good receiving group. You did the same with Fields.

These are just a couple of simple examples. I'm not reading what you are preaching. Maybe you need to do a little soul searching or own up to what you have been doing. All I'm sayin.

First of all I never said If i were napier I would take TC QB over Fields. I simply saiid if I were starting a Pro Style offense I'd take him. Not saying better or not just different styles. Chandler is close to Levi and Leblanc more of a pocket passer thats more about style than it is talent. By the way neither of them are proven D1 talents at this point it is not a perfect science on how recruiting plays out.

TC receivers- never suggested I was praising them just stating what anyone around that program witnessed and knows it is not a secret.

Never demished Holstein or Fields talents just said I would like to see them in different scenarios.

You are like arguing with a liberal. You get offended by facts and put words in my mouth. I just cant have a reasonable discussion with you, I'm out. Enjoy your world of make believe la la land.

Hey guys please stop talking about TC QB and receivers yes it was a rough year. This is a UL board and right now TC has one D1 commit and he’s going to lsuambr.

You simply want to argue and it doesn’t matter who it’s with. How many of these kids have you seen play?

Depends are you an Arkansas st, Texas tech, App State, Southern Miss or Cajun fan. Lol. I think it just has to do with the era you grew up in. I’d draw the line at pre Baldwin or post Baldwin

So, to recap: We’ve just played in the first ever SBC championship game, in which we were competitive, during a season where we weren’t supposed to come near being competitive. We improved game-over-game all season long. Except for a single game, the team wore nothing but vermilion and white all season long. We’re about to sign far and away the best signing class we’ve ever been able to sign, judging by the sheer number of three and two star athletes. And a couple of people are upset about the color of shirt our coaches are wearing in recruit twitter photos? Does that about sum things up?

My lord, by their chirping you’d think things were seriously falling apart around here.
