    1. When we wear "Vermillion" or white uniforms. Black shirts are easy to identify on the sidelines, because all of the fans and players are wearing Vermillion or white at home games.
    2. When traveling, I prefer to wear dark colors. It hides wrinkles and along with any food or marks.

It's that simple. You guys want to be big time, but you worry about small things. Florida State and Texas have both worn black and I can purchase a ton of their gear in black. We are all aware of their "offical" school colors.

Please let this die and enjoy what we have. My god.....you people!
Explain black for every press conference this season. Does texas and Fla state coaches never wear burnt orange and garnet. This is more about the fact on this thread several different coaches were shown in houses visiting recruits not one had on our school colors.

I realize this went way over your head.

I am completely OK in traditional baseball fashion of gray road unis with red trim and home white unis with red trim. Unfortunately in college baseball they tend to beer league softball up unis a little.

Obviously the points you are making is not the same as an entire coaching staff almost NEVER wearing its school colors from August to December. None had on school colors representing our university in the homes of recruits. They looked like App or Ark Sts coaches more than UL. If you can't understand that then common sense has completely passed you by.

Having said that if the university wants to officially change its colors to red and black then they should do it. I'd be ok with it. But what they are doing now for a team who's colors are vermillion and white is just assigned.

I didn’t say the team, your justification for 2 coaching staff’s always wearing white and black instead of black and gold (both their official colors) was that they wear white for games. So would it be fair to say gray is also acceptable to wear all the time by the coaches? Since gray is also know as a road color. And you don’t know that, you only can refer to when they are in front of a camera. To me,common sense says your problem should be with the people who approve the licensing for all the black apparel, not the people who wear it. They are wearing licensed, university approved apparel.

Don't mind them. They are both idiots. Mutt & Jeff. They carry on back and forth like they are related. One day it's the color thing. The next day it's the TC thing. It is unbelievable the number of young atheletes one will throw under the bus to attempt to support their agenda. Yesterday it was Fields and trashing the TC receiving core. Today it's the STM QB is not really good because he throws to good receivers. Then they attempt to impune other posters about their writings and reading comprehension or call them idiots when those posters call them on there asinine positions. They should get together and maybe as a combo they would have a chance to help each other get their respective heads out their butts.

    Why does it even matter?

I have no problem with coaches "Fading to Black" on the recruiting trail.

On "The Recruiting Trail" it's ALL about the recruit.

Are you trying to say those 3 coaches NEVER wore burnt orange, red, and garnet once this season in any press conference or public appearance? Are you saying all of those guys assistants almost never wear the aforementioned colors while visiting homes of recruits? I will guarantee every one of those coaches this year wore their school colors 95% of the time compared to black.

This discussion isn't about the fact that Urban Meyers put on a black ohio st shir once or twice this season.

I realize that is difficult for you to grasp.
