I guess you all get the point that we haven't lost a head football coach to another school in the last 75 years. Most find Lafayette so great an area that they give up coaching plant their roots here. Great for Lafayette because they are wonderful people but not necessarily for a coaching stepping stone reputation.

Well virtually every one of those coaches weren’t being offered a coaching career here any longer. Maybe they simply felt that once you’ve beded the best there’s no point in any of the rest.
