Tech's stadium is old and still in need of many more updates, that's for sure.

Can't blame them for putting us on that list. 2/3 of our stadium needs serious attention. However, who honestly cares what this guy thinks?

Our other facilities are pretty top notch.

That whole piece on all the stadiums is hilarious. He is right about the asymmetrical look of Cajun Field. Always said we need to bowl in the NEZ. It just looks shi__y. And the East side of the stadium looks incomplete. Glad to see it is finally being addressed. Can't happen soon enough.

I wouldn't think any upgrade to the stadium would address the asymmetrical aspect of the stadium.

Agreed, Dr. Maggard has already stated Cajun Field will not be expanded at this time. The upgrade will be pretty much limited to the entire upper deck and press box which I am in total agreement with.

We are all guessing at this point, everyone with their vision of what it should be, except for the very few that know. It wouldn't surprise me either way. I'm also pretty sure, whatever comes out, we all will have something about it that we won't like. I just hope Dr. Maggard builds it for beyond the Sun Belt.

I think they will address the lower bowl seating on the west side to bring it to standard as well. Wider aisles and seating. If so, that will reduce seat numbers a little.

It looks unfinished because it was always intended to place a matching upper deck on the east side less a press box. I think they (at the time) were figuring on that happening years ago. But that was pre Authement years and the stagnation that resulted pretty much put an end to that. I always.figured that the animosity Authement had to sports was a result of the death penalty for basketball.

No, I know for a fact that he was not a supporter before the death penalty. Certainly possible that only made it worse, but his attitude did pre-dated the penalty.
