We paid $125 each which included cost to pick seats as well as luggage. We're doing the 8:09pm flight on Frontier.

Wife and I flying Frontier out of Lafayette on Friday. Staying at the team hotel Universal Portofino Bay. Coming back Monday. My Christmas present as well. Does anyone know of any special/reduced price tickets for Universal Orlando theme parks? They have special group rates and do not know if UL/Sun Belt/Cure Bowl had any special promotions.

You were able to get that special rate I gave you on the flyer Saturday?

Yes. I was on the phone finishing the reservations as you were leaving. Are you staying there as well? Glad you and my wife were there to take care of DB. Scary but everything seems OK now.

We're not staying at the team hotel. I have a bunch of Holiday Inn points so we're staying at a Holiday Inn 10 minutes from the stadium. See you there.

That incident with DB was scary. I touched base with Jimmy yesterday and he said DB was doing good.

I can relate.... our family has been fairly regular visitors thru the years. One year we drove down but my work schedule required me to fly out directly from Orlando for an overseas trip and leave my wife to drive home with the kids (other family was in another vehicle). I called once I got to my connecting in New York and quickly heard an earful about how horrible it was since our oldest daughter got sick an hour after leaving and was throwing up continously. Daggers were coming through that phone line. I was never so glad to get on an international flight without phone service in my life.... ;-)

Another trip we flew down with a four month old who got sick right before we were scheduled to leave. Our doctor told us we could still go on the trip but warned us if the blood cultures came back bad we would be admitting her to a hospital in Orlando. Thankfully all was good and she didn't have to be admitted, but our Orlando vacations have been an adventure in more ways than one.

Let me know where you end up sitting. Have you decided to get tickets through UL or from someplace else?

Sure hope MSY or LFT airports don’t charge short or long term parking...our men won’t have many fans in the stands

Should not be an issue. The charge does not surface until all the fun has been had.
