Hardy needs to start taking some mid range shots
Understandable why some folks frustrated with tonight's performance. Too many turnovers again and too many offensive rebounds. Marcus Stroman getting to the rim and trying to make the home run pass is one reason there were too many turnovers. If he just lays the ball in the hoop we get a few more baskets. In post game, Coach Marlin said reason we gave up so many offensive rebounds was people getting beat off dribble causing Gant to leave his man to protect the rim. His man than cleaned up on the glass. He also said guys played too comfortable and not enough on edge. There is probably something to that and I would not be surprised to see more focus soon. Crowd was actually better than I expected considering people focusing on football today. Good turnout by students once again. That is encouraging.
ESPN+ is a hot mess. Finding Louisiana anything is a 20 minute journey
I had plus problems all year. Finally got a new roku stick and it worked fine last night and this morning. Tonight I tried and fought with it until half time cussing Cox . THEY GOT ME AGAIN BY RAISING MY STRESS LEVELS. So undependable.
Street ball offense. I was very disappointed with our shooting. Right now, we have no goto gun. Southern had two kids that were on the money with most shots. I don't like the way our shooters spin the ball when they release. We would not have beaten a better team had we played the same way that we played last night. All in all though, they worked hard, didn't quit just need to become more efficient with their shots and drives to the basket.
Cedric Russell is the best shooter on the team...we have got to find a way to get him more than 5-6 shots per game
Cedric is passing up looks.....he needs a hot streak soon to get his mojo back.
Anyone have a video of that DUNK with about 13 mins left where Stroman threw it off the glass and Gant came behind with one hand and slammed it home? INCREDIBLE!
