Now they're making fun of the greatest thread in the history of the interweb's athletic world, our Sumlin watch thread.
I tell ya, for a bunch of guys who "couldn't care less about Cajun athletics", they sure know a lot about Cajun athletics.
If I was a cynic, which I'm not..........
We will win this game by at least 3 touchdowns. Napier understands the recruiting significance of this game.
This was a gift.
One wild card is that Fritz fired their horrid OC last week. So, will they be more wide-open and risk-taking on the offensive side of the ball, more conservative, or perhaps lost? McMillan can chuck the ball and we've been dreadful defending those long passes this year. Should be a good match-up and a fun game to watch.
There is nothing much for us to gain by beating a 6-6 Tulane team in a bowl game, but there's also nothing much to lose if we lose to them. Nobody other than fans of SBC and AAC teams will even notice that it's being played. Potential recruits won't even pay it any mind. It's probably the most boring matchup of all the bowl games. I was sure hoping for a matchup against South Florida. Beating those guys would have been noticed.
