And most certainly, if a team with this little talent wins the West and makes the SBC Championship game, surely its coach would be a slam dunk for Coach of the Year.

Or maybe, just maybe all of the other coaches in the conference want Satterfield to move out, so they anointed him Coach of the Year.

He appears to be a major candidate at Louisville.

Very disappointing. Deserving Cajuns got hosed by the coaches/sportswriters. Who decides this stuff anyway? Looks like most were trying to justify their pre-season predictions and did not look at actual in season production. They were completely wrong about Napier and the Cajuns before the season started and they are wrong about them now. I guarantee NO other team wanted to play Ragas/Mitchell/Calais again. Definitely a lovefest for App. State and stAte. This is really an embarrassment for the league. If Trey Ragas is a third teamer then the SBC has the best running backs in the nation.

Our second an third teamers need to run for about 300 yards total on Saturday. Oh, and that honorable mention guy needs to get about 150 all-purpose yards as well.

I remember talking to Ron Guidry and the Cy Young award came up and then the question of mvp....he said that some that didn't vote for him as the mvp would have voted for him after the World Series......why not hold the votes post season including play offs???

You don't win MVP of the NFL or MLB for having best per game numbers. Its an award for the full season bottom line numbers same as all conference. Not the other two's fault he played 11 games. Even still he's lower in per game scrimmage yards and scores to two guys who split time.

And Mitchell played 11 games too. And his YPC was better than Evans
