Incredibly I felt great about what the final outcome would be, but was so frustrated by our lack of focus so often last night.

First half was very frustrating for the reason you describe. For the first 15 minutes we simply could not match their intensity. Coaches tried to warn our guys their opponent would really be into it but I don't think they realized how much that would be the case until well into the contest. Once we stopped turning the ball over, we got the game back under control.
