With forward JaKeenan Gant delivering despite some knee pain and point guard Marcus Stroman stepping up when asked, the UL basketball team turns to its final outing of a stretch with six in a row on the road when it visits the University of New Orleans on Wednesday night.

Gant has putting up numbers, and he’s receiving rewards as a result as the Ragin’ Cajuns prepare the Southland Conference-member Privateers.

The senior transfer from Missouri is averaging a team-high 17.8 points, 7.2 rebounds and a team-leading 1.8 blocks per game in his second season on the floor with the Cajuns.
