So you announced it rather loud and you are 0 for 1.

I could not find your 4.5 wins line for the season anywhere. I was grasping for straws and could not find any. Wanted to drop a load on that.

I announced the Texas St game and the ULM game and won both. Just sayin.

The surging team is always the more dangerous team, IMHO.
Like 71 said, App St has built a tradition on winning big games. They are at home. It will be a monumental task. I just like our chances.
I truly hope you are laughing all the way to the pay window. I wish I was as confident as you just not seeing it.

Would be a nice way to pay for the NOLA trip, wouldn't it?
For the record, last NOLA Bowl, I hit a 4 game parlay the weekend before and it paid for that trip. Trying to make this a tradition

UL to win the sun belt - pre season prop bet is still in play! It was 18 to 1

App makes a living on not allowing teams to run the football. I think this is one of those games where we throw it early to loosen them up a bit.

What makes them so good defensively is their speed. You really have to be special to run wide against them.

We also allowed their RB to get 120+ if I remember right. That number has to come down.

And, yes, we need to win the turnover battle. But we've been turning teams over lately, so that can be done, I think.

You're right about Evans. He busted two big runs, but other than that, I didn't think we played the run too poorly. Thomas' ability to find the open gaps and push the pile for 5-6-7 yards makes them incredibly tough to defend on 3rd down (although we did a great job on 3rd down last meeting - I think they were something like 4 for 13).

Double checked. Evans got 180 against us.

With long runs of like 70 and 40? Was I close on 3rd down conv?

Look, if we play as well defensively as we did the last time we were up there the Cajuns will have a chance to win. We must get better production from Nunez. He missed on some really easy 3rd down conversions.
