Mitchell clearly had not crossed the goal line, therefore the play was still in progress. Having said that, I agree, it was close, and as CajunVic said, Swisher Sweet.

I don’t have a commercial painting company, but I was standing next to a guy who does.

Based on what we've seen this season, it's obvious that Nape has told these kids that they do their talking with their play on the field, not with their mouths like the Arky State Piglets.

Jalen was just introducing himself to the fella.

Not in the video, but early in the run he put a move on a
DB and the guy is still looking for his jock.

The flag could have been thrown in a game tomorrow or yesterday. In this game it wasn't. It's all in the eye's of the ref and what he want's to do.....

If a flag was thrown, then I have to ask, what would the call have been? It wasn't a late hit, the play was still in progress. Nor was the guy out of bounds (until his heels touched the ground LOL). It wasn't targeting, Jalen hit the dude shoulder to shoulder. Surely wasn't some sort of illegal block either.

Smash mouth football was what it was and KUDOS to Jalen for protecting his teammate as he was about to cross the goal line.

It could have been called I think the new rule the player has to have the opportunity to see you. So in that respect I think a flag could have been thrown but was not. So no foul no harm.

All he had to do was look left before crossing the tracks and he wouldn't have got hit by that freight train.

Lucky that wasn't called in today's kinder, gentler football. It was unnecessary, well behind the play, and our player was crossing the goal line.

I love to see a good de-cleater, but we have to be smart with the current rules....
