Thread: Boone trip

    Default Boone trip

Just some information for those of you still on the fence about going.

We booked our flights on Allegiant air direct MSY- Concord, NC. Friday-Monday. The flight was only about $190 with baggage and fees.
Plenty of cabins available on Airbnb in banner elk/ Boone area, perfect for several couples. Ours comes out to $62 a night per person or couple.
We need as many Cajun fans as possible in the Rock on Saturday to help our men win the SBC championship.
Plenty of seats still available on the plane!

Weather will be good...for this time of year, scattered rain, 40% 45degrees or so...could be worse, trust me..

Good research. That's affordable for a lot of people.

I’ll have to rough it this time around, so thanks for the summary. It was good seeing y’all again and proud of our fans for showing up and showing out.

For sure. We had a blast yesterday. It's been a long time since I was so nervous at the end of a game.
We heard you drank them dry yesterday! I'll never complain about concessions at Cajun Field ever again. What a dump. It felt like a high school operation.

I went down to buy some water at the beginning of halftime and ended up missing the first plays of the 3rd quarter waiting in line. My wife had a difficult time getting into the bleachers because they did not have a first step at the bottom and she is short and has knee problems. There was really no aisle they just painted the bleacher black and called it an aisle. That place was the worst stadium I have been to in years, including high schools.

1 concession line for that entire side. I just wanted a cup of ice for my bourbon. Nope. No cups. Not regular or souvenir. No fountain drinks.

Does anyone know how the tickets will be distributed?

If nothing is sent out today regarding tickets, I was planning to call the office tomorrow.

Im considering it. $200 round-trip flight from NOLA to Charlotte, 80 mile drive to Boone, two night hotel. Doesn't sound too bad

The ulman stadium looked horrible on TV looked about like a high school stadium especially the 10 or so rows of seats on the one side
