That's right, incomplete pass on 4th and someone blue a whistle, not the refs. Then I believe some talk between the refs with no explanation. And another play ran.....no. five......went something like that.....

Refs may have concluded some players stopped due to the whistle from the fans which is why they let another play be run. I agree that is not the way things should have been done.

They say a win is a win, but that was as ugly as it gets. if we play like that against App St we will get embarrassed.

Sounded on the radio call like the refs called it as an inadvertent whistle on an incomplete pass play. The NCAA Rulebook says that automatically results in a replay of the down.
