You are close. We were worse.
Stats show us 19 of 31.

And when you miss 46 shots to your opponents 26 misses, it will look like you got killed on the boards. Majority of rebounds are defensive so they had 20 more attempts at those than we did.

Very poor shooting usually yields rebound advantage.

That was a flat out embarrassment tonight to a team that didn’t even make the postseason last year.

Only listening and following stats. I put this loss on shooting alone. We shoot our average percentages from the floor and 3 we probably win. Oh well we didn’t and we lost. I’m not worried anymore or less than I was before the game.

Good news is we can shoot better tomorrow and beat the crap out of some team called Tulane!!!!

That was my point. Hearing we were getting killed on the boards, but actually we just couldn’t shoot.

Marlin just told Jay that Toledo was celebrating like they just won the Super Bowl and "that's how teams react when they beat the Ragin Cajuns."

    Wow. Just wow.....

Another example: I herd south al ran the ball better than us. Not true. They outgained us 223-210 on the ground. But we averaged 6.4 to their 3.9. They had 57 carries to our 33

Neither Stroman nor Russell had good games.
    Wesley had a good game.
I wouldn't mind seeing him get more minutes if our starters don't pick up the pace.

If they did not make post season last year, it was because they declined the second tier tournaments. They finished second to Buffalo in both the regular season and tournament. I thought they were a pretty good mid major but no threat to go far in post season if they get there. They may win the MAC this year, if not they will be near the top again. As far as we are concerned, we looked terrible most of the night because we shot so poorly. You won't beat anyone shooting 4 for 22 from three. If they do that again tomorrow, result will be the same.
