I was driving and unable to watch the game; but it sounded like we had much more movement away from the ball and better spacing in the half court game that has been our norm. Those are both things we have badly needed for several years.

Halftime Toledo leads Florida Gulf Coast 42-25. Kinda surprising. I was thinking FGC would be the favorite in that game....just based on past performance.
Colorado State was a good matchup for us. We had the significant athletic advantage. Kudos for making the most of it by the coaching staff and players.
Glad Tulane won and want to face them in two days !!!
May be our only chance to play the Wave for a while as there doesn't appear to be anything in the works for a home & home. When was the last time we played them in basketball?
Of course, both teams have business to take care of before that can happen.
Toledo up 53-34 with 15:31 left in the game.
Next game?
Opponent?
Tomorrow at6:30pm vs Toledo/FGCU winner, probably Toledo.
Final Toledo 90 FGCU 62. Cajuns will play Toledo tomorrow.
Last time we played Tulane was in December of 2010 which was Coach Marlin's first year. We lost to them in New Orleans. Year before we lost to them in Lafayette after having a lead in the second half. That was Coach Lee's last year in Lafayette. They signed the home and home in Coach Lee's tenure. I imagine they felt our program was in a decline at that point so they felt safe signing the deal. They have not had any interest in renewing the series regardless of their coach since Coach Marlin has been here. Both Louisiana schools have tough games tomorrow so no guarantee Cajuns and Wave match up here.
I don't think rankings mean anything at this stage with so few games played. Below 250 or above is not relevant without enough games being played to have the program work properly. That ranking of around 250 was due to their schedule in all likelihood and the fact they have played nothing but home games prior to today. Colorado State Rams were 3 and 0 prior to today so it was a good win. Tomorrow will be a challenge as Toledo was in the NCAA tournament a year ago. The MAC is also in the basketball portion of the country so the sport means something there.
