    Former Acadiana HS grad, finalist for the UL AD job, and current AD at Central Michigan Mike Alford has hired former Colorado State and Florida HC Jim McIlwain as HC at CMU.

    That’s a big get for Central Michigan.

    He was not a finalist for the UL AD job. That was Bryan Maggard and the LSU Deputy AD who is now the AD at New Mexico.

    Interesting about the JMU coach. He inherited a solid program and parlayed it into a P5 job. Who was the guy at JMU before him?

    That would be Everett Withers.

    Kansas State is also interested in Satterfield and has made overtures to him.

    According to an TV add I saw for the AAC, they refer to themselves as a power 6 conference, therefore ECU is a power 6 job. lol.
