Sweet! I was still able to go my Ragin Cajun account online to purchase ULM away game tickets for Saturday. Athletic department should email a link (like they did with being bowl eligible) to all fans encouraging them to attend this big game in Monroe.

I agree. I think 6-6 gets us bumped into an at-large pool and I don't like our chances there. We need to beat the Monrovians. And besides, I think this team winning the western division and playing in the first-ever title game is as big as or bigger than any bowl we might land this year.

If we win this weekend the best case scenario for our program aside from upsetting the East champ is Montgomery. That’s a tiny stadium that we can fill and have a great showing.

Build excitement coming off a bowl, and signing a tremendous recruiting class. We should try and poach the Kansas commits from Louisiana and get them in this class too.

Actually, that may be the case. Most projections have us in and even in some at large bowls, but others have as many as 5 teams eligible but staying home. Sometimes UL is on that list, sometimes not.


I’ve seen us projected to go to NOLA vs multiple opppnamts, Cure bowl against SMU, Birmingham against Cincinnati, and even the Frisco Bowl against Western Michigan ( who is also projected to stay home in a few projection.) We just need to win on Saturday. And if we don’t, root for all the 5-6 teams to go down.
