As I celebrate our victory tonight to become bowl eligible, we have one team in the way that can move our program forward by putting us in the Sun Belt Conference Championship. And that team? UL-Monroe.

Even though our attendance has been less than pleasant, this game can once again open the eyes of our fan base with a win. We need as many fans as possible to make it up to Monroe next Saturday to help the Cajuns clinch the west. I, along with three others, will be making the trip. Plus, I'm hearing our band will be there as well. Let's #MakeMaloneStadiumRed.

Who else is going?

U L and Acadiana as well as Louisiana is a special football venue and demographics. Napier will win and that will continue. That will solve most of the attendance problems. Winning solves much! The Monroe game is now paramount to all others. They only had 276 total yds vs Ark st
We produce 576 total yds. We need to show up and play a good game especially on def because the offense will produce. Go Cajuns!!

If the university was smart and of course, if they were allowed to, they should hold the tickets until Tuesday. I'm sure there are many fans like myself that only decided to go to Monroe after a win yesterday.

I guess we will just buy a ticket at the game when we get there.

From what I understand, though our crowds have been horrid, there's no word in the dictionary to describe theirs most years. I don't know about this year.

If we had to hope for a certain weather forecast, I'd say heavy rain and 40 mph winds would work in our favor. What's the long-range forecast looking like?

When's the deadline to sign up for the Alumni Bus Trip? I'm tempted to hitch a ride but I'm also considering taking my son to Natchitoches for kids fest and the Christmas lights after the game.
