I can assure you Dr. Maggard is very disappointed in the loss today. However, nothing can be done about this in the short term as Coach Brodhead signed an extension recently. Up to he and his staff to have the team work to improve so as things like today don't happen again.

Year 5 & 6 you have losses to D2 schools you need to be shown the door however it's not worth the hassle or the cost.

Maybe we should give him an extension so that potential recruits will feel good about his security and be willing to commit? We need players and they need comfort in knowing the coach will be around right? Seems legit. I thought I saw that here somewhere.

Extension was given prior to season. You are correct in that few follow this sport at this point. This group does have potential for improvement however as they have a few players with shooting abilities. They will get a couple of more players back later in season which should help.

Looked it up and see that WBB gets 15 scholarships. Why do we only have 12 players in the roster?

Since we have no seniors, I believe he was saving a couple of scholarships for a 2019 class.

I still have problems with someone letting 'no seniors' happen.

That's ridiculous man should be shipped the min the clock hit zero in your 2nd loss to a D2 school. We once again reward mediocrity.

Don't get it wrong I like Gary as a person I really do but as a coach he has no value at this university IMO.

Make sure when you see him in person, you let him know his value to the University. Since you like him as a person... LOL

Exactly my point you watched the end of the game saw they loss and was like, this is terrible. Nobody knows the real reason why they only have 8 players. Maybe go ask the coach if you are so concerned about it. He has the most wins all time as the women's coach here at UL.

No, they won it just the most boring sport of all time it looks like a game of basketball you would watch at recess in elementary school.

Coach recruits the players' coach coaches the players, and we are in year 6 there are zero players left from the previous staff. No matter the reason the blame rests solely on his shoulders.
